1st Appointment

Today was my first OB appointment. Adam and I arrived about 30mins early which was good because I had to use the potty! When we checked in they had me fill out some paperwork and gave me a bunch of goodies! I got the What to expect when you expecting book, a pregnnacy journal, a book to document all the stages and happenings during this pregnancy, and a bunch of coupons/phamplets. Then we got called back and the nurse asked me a bunch of questions and what not, took my weight which I am up 2lbs right now. Then I had to give a urine sample and told them it wasn't water it really was my urine I was just super hydrated!!:)

The dcotor came in and asked me some questions and told me the do's and dont's of medications and what not to take, and then I talked to him about me working out and that I had got back on my mileage running and was doing mostly low impact cardio and what not, and he said that was fine but to make sure I kept my heart rate at an ok level to not take away blood supply from the baby. He also stated that because I had a hold in my heart that I would be getting an ultrasound done around 18wks to check his/her heart and that I would also be getting one in another 4wks during my 12th wk to check the back of the babies neck to make sure it doesn't have spina bifidia or anything else wrong, and that both those ultrasounds will be done either in St. Louis or Columbia and covered under health insurance as they are medically necessary. It was amazing to see our little baby on the ultrasound today, and to see the heart beating and it had a heart rate of 162bpm!! Nice strong heart beat!! I was also measuring right at 8wks 1day which is dead on for my due date of 22 Aug 10!!

8 Weeks!

I am now in my 8th wk of pregnancy, there are days when the nausea is pretty much gone, but then days when it is full blown and I can't do anything! I haven't had much cramping, but I think it is because this is my 4th pregnancy so my body knows what to do and that is why I already have a small belly on me. I am sure it doesn't help I was only 120lbs prior to getting pregnant so I don't have much belly fat to hide a belly! :)

I have been working out almost daily for the past wk since the nausea has been letting up enough during the evenings. Just doing light cardio such as bike, eliptical, stairstepper or walking/jogging on the treadmill. Been doing lots of lunges, squats and using hand weights to keep my muscle tone with this pregnancy. Although this morning I felt really good so I ran 2 miles on the treadmill, it was by no means a fast 2 mile pace, but it felt good to run, I did notice some cramping after that so I may have pushed myself a little harder than needed to, but I will ask my doctor about that tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning Adam and I go for our first OB appt for this pregnancy and we will be getting an ultrasound, and although I have such a peace about this pregnancy and that all is fine, I still have that little worry in the back of my mind until I see/hear the heartbeat which we will be able to tomorrow. With all the changes that go on with pregnancy it is all so worth it getting to see that little baby on the ultrasound and knowing we created another child out of love and will be adding him or her to our family this summer.

I have a feeling this one is a girl and boy I hope I am right, I bought some adorable little girl onsies at the thirft store yesterday that are all pratically brand new! I was dead one with the boys so I am hoping I am right with this one as well! Although if its another boy that is fine, I just want a healthy baby with 10fingers and 1otoes!

In the next few wks I will rent a doppler like I did when I was pregnant with the boys because I love being able to hear the heartbeat at home and I think it would be neat to share that with the boys as well. It is funny that I know I am pregnant, but as soon as the smallest symptoms start to go away like sore bb's or a lack of nausea one day I begin to wonder did something happen and I just don't know it yet.. so of course my silly butt went to the dollar store yesterday and bought a cheap hpt and took it. As soon as my urine went over the test line that line showed up and dark! So I know my hormone levels are still high and it does just give me a peace of mind until tomorrow morning's appt!

Testing 1,2,3..

Yup we are PREGNANT!!! Baby number three is due to arrive on or around 22 August 2010!! We started trying for another baby back in Sept, I finally felt ready to try again after our loss back in March, and defiantly was ready to be pregnant so I used OPKs and took my temperature daily that cycle. And I didn't really think it would happen, but a few days before my lovely friend was due to arrive I was getting the burpies and was staying up super late! Both are highly unlike me so I took a test at 10 days past ovulation (DPO) and got a big fat negative (BFN) well I still felt like my friend wasn't going to arrive so I tested at 12DPO and got what I thought was a faint second line off a $test from Dollar General. So I retested with another $ test and got a defite 2nd pink line the next morning although it was still light so that afternoon I bought a test from the shopette on post and got a definite blue plus sign. I had a digital that came with my OPKs and was waiting to take it because I wanted to know it would say PREGNANT, so I woke up at 230 am on Saturday and took it, up came the word PREGNANT!!! I was so happy!!!

This was on 12 Dec 09, I tried tried waiting till Christmas to tell Adam, but I couldn't I held it in till Sunday morning and had Hayden tell daddy he was going to be a big brother! It took a mintue to sink in, but boy Adam was so excited and we both got teary eyed. It is an amazing feeling knowing that you are going to bring in another member to your family and that he or she was created out of love. So far so good with this pregnancy, I did call and ask to have my levels checked because I wanted to be on the safe side even with my good feeling of this pregnancy, they did three 48hr checks and my levels doubled every 48hrs like they were suppose to so that Friday the nurse called and said the doctor wanted me to go in for an ultrasound on the 23rd of Dec.

I was excited to get one so early I knew I would be just over 5wks. It was NOT fun having to drink and hold in 32 plus ounces of water!! Adam and I go in for our ultrasound and saw the gestational sac which was measuring at 5wks 5days and based off my last menstraul cycle (LMP) I was 5wks 3days, we also were able to see the yolk sac which provides the baby with nutrients until the placenta takes over which is around wk 10 or so I think. The tech said she thought everything looked good so far, which made me happy. My doctor will get the results early next wk and I am thinking he will either have me come in again for another ultrasound later next wk so we can see the heartbeat because I will be 6wks and we will be able to see the baby by then and see the heartbeat or I will just have to wait till my first appt which is on 11 Jan!!

I did have some brown spotting but only when I wiped that started on Tues the day before my ultrasound, it has since stopped so I think all is fine and I am not worrying about it because everything I have found said it can be normal, my OBs nurse said it can be normal along with the ultrasound tech. They said it was probably left over from when the baby implanted into the uterus abd because it takes a while for it to work its way down it is brown and that brown is good. Even though I still do worry a little bit, I do have a good feeling about this pregnancy and am so grateful the Lord as blessed us with a new addition to our family. I know the boys are so excited about being big brothers and Adam and I are excited to be having another child along with the families with adding another grandchild.

The above statement is so true! i can't believe my oldest will be 5 next week!! It seems like yesterday I was giving birth to him. Tonight we had his first parent teacher conference with his pre school teacher and she said he is doing wonderful! He is doing great with his cutting and coloring inside the lines, he still needs to work a little bit on the sharing part! He loves his classmates and get along with everybody Miss Mary his teacher said, she also said he loves to dance and sing in class which I think is so adorable!

I also can't believe how big Hayden is getting, hard to believe he is 3 1/2!! he loves his big brother and wants to be just like him! Tonight he said he wanted to turn into Cole!!

An Update

Well what has been going on with us. We have been super busy lately. The boys are growing like weeds and defiantly are little terrors. We have been having a super hard time getting them to go to sleep, but I am hoping we can get that stopped soon!
Cole starts pre school in just a few wks! I can't believe I will have a child in school!! I am looking foward to him doing sports such as t ball and soccer! Work has been busy for me, I have been in my new position for just over 6 months now and am in the swings of being the supervisor and have made it through two memorials, Best Sapper competition, change of command and organizational day and now a bn reorganization and still have all my hair! :)
Adam has been picking up some landscaping jobs and really enjoying that so that is always a good thing! We both are signing up for classes in a few wks, I will graduate May '10! So cannot wait, I am finishing it up in General Studies with education/pe classes, since I am looking at becoming a personal trainer and that I am really looking foward to.
Otherwise it has been a pretty good summer so far been to the pool a bunch of times and what not.
Well going to get my boys to bed because they are in their rooms playing!

Here are some recent picture of the boys. Our neighbor had two swing sets and they were nice enough to give us one so now the boys have one, I do need to go to Lowe's or somewhere and get new covers for the chains on the swings, but for it being free who can complain. They sure do love it. We have been busy here and enjoying the nice weather it has been so far it has been in the low 80's and we are in October!!

I love how Cole crosses his leg when he sleeps! this is how they were when i got done taking them for a stroll around the block Adam and I got to go see a movie the other night and Donna a good friend of mine who watched the boys had gotten the pumpkins and had the boys carve them (with help from her of course) they basically helped draw the faces and help take the "yucky stuff" out as Cole says.

He still looks so little at time even though he is already 2 1/2!

I think it is a good thing I have to go to work, because they sure do like to hog the bed and how they sleep like this I have no idea!

The other night we went to Wal-Mart and as we were walking by the toy section we see all the power wheel trucks they have.

Cole: Stops and stares at them and says he wants the red car
Adam and me: Well Cole you already have a truck so you don't need another one.

Then later that night I go to check on them after we had put them to bed and he is laying in bed awake, so I went in and laid down with him in bed

Me: Cole what are you thinking about?
Cole: That red car
Me: Well don't you think having two cars is a bit much for a little boy?
Cole:Yup
Cole: But how about I buy some money and get the car and Hayden can drive the truck and I can drive the red car.

How cute is that. He is so smart to think all that how all by himself and it makes sense Hayden could drive the truck and he could drive the car. The stuff they can think of all on their own amazes me.

Last night we were coming home from Wal-Mart and Cole out of the blue, asked if mommy was going to have a baby. Adam and I asked why, and he said because he wants a girl in my tummy, we asked why he wants a girl in mommy's tummy and he said because he wants a sister! How cute is that a three year old says he wants a sister!

I also asked Cole if he wants to get married when he grows up and he said yes, I then asked if he wanted kids of his own when he gets married and he said yes, I asked him what would he want a boy or a girl and he said he wants a little girl! guess he likes girls uh?! :)

Summer update

Well summer is has come and gone and boy this has been one of the best summers out here yet, in all the years we have lived out here. There were only two days that I can recall that were super hot, the rest were really nice and just pleasant.

The weather has finally cooled down to a steady in the 70's maybe low 80's on a rare day still, but you can tell that winter will be here before to long, with the cold mornings! i am looking foward to fall I love that time of year the colors of the leaves changing, it's so beautiful.

School has started up for the school aged kids here in MO back in mid August, Cole tells me he doesn't go to daycare now, he goes to school, but that Hayden goes to daycare because he is to little to go to school.

I have three semesters left after the one I am currently in and I will be done with my bachelors!! thank goodness!! My GI Bill has run out so I now am counting on financial aid and some student loans to finish what I got left, because I know if I stop I just wont go back to finish, and I am to close and have worked to hard to get it.

I have switched my degree from Elementary Education to Pyschology, only because there is no way I would ever be able to complete 12 wks of student teaching. they do not pay you for that and there would never be a way for me to save that much time off. But in the state of MO you can get a bachelors in pretty much anything and then just get certified to teach which is what I will do, although now I don't know if I will go teach, with me getting this promotion and if it turns out the way I hope and becomes permanant then I will be looking good for retirement with the federal service and I could just substitute on the side.

Adam still hasn't gotten a full time job, but has started back up with school himself, and we have gotten it worked out with the daycare now that we only pay for the days the boys go so that is good. He does work now and then for his old boss doing some landscaping on the side. He has stopped drinking for those of you and is doing great! I make it a point to tell him everyday how thankful we are and how proud of him we are for making the decision to become a better person. I know it is not easy for him, but he is the old Adam, not this mad and never wanting to do anything person that he had become.

I finally got the boys on a routine again with bedtime they know 8pm we brush teeth, and wash faces, and then go into their room for prayers, story time, hugs n kisses and then it is bedtime! And let me tell you it is so nice to have them on a bedtime again! We have that downtime in the evenings just Adam and me.

I have been running quite a bit and have done a 10K, and a 5K so far, I have 3 more 5Ks to do before the year is over, that I signed up for. I think it is so cute that Cole wants to work out with me, because he wants big muscles when he grows up! :)

Speaking of Cole he has three best friends, Daven, Caden Tool and Madison. I think that is just so adorable my three (almost four year old, sniff sniff) has best friends!! And to think they will go to school together too.

Hayden tags right along with Cole and does everything his big brother does, and I mean everything! :) They play so good together and don't fight to much, but when they do the fists are a flying let me tell you! :)

Well I think that is all for now with an update from us, nothing really exciting.

As most of you know, I was offered a Supervisor position at our BDE level. So far it is going good and I can't complain, it is weird for me to be the one reviewing awards and what not and to not have to sign "for" when signing documents! I am so used to being the one to type up papers not review them for others!
My old office threw me a going away dinner which my mom and aunt were able to attend since they had come into town. I got a wonderful plaque with my name, the time period I was there and my job title, and then at the bottom it has one of my favorite sayings.. AG Corps.... HOOAH!!

Still alive! Yes we are still alive here and have not dropped off the face of the earth! It just has been super super busy this summer. Adam was gone for 4 months working up in NY and I was back here finishing up some schooling, trying to sell or rent the house, and still work and maintain a household with two toddlers. Not much free time. Well then 2 wks before I am suppose to make the BIG move to NY, i get offered a promotion here on base. With lots of deep thought and talking to some family members and weighing pros and cons Adam and I decided to stay out here. Not an easy decision, i cried many nights and couldn't eat for a few days because I was so looking foward to moving back home. But our house still hadn't sold and no renters and with only a lateral for a job offer back home it would have been near impossible to stay afloat financially.
My mother came to visit a few days ago it was so nice to see her. I graduated Aug 16th with an Associates degree from Drury University, I also have only 3 semesters left after this one and I will be finished with a bachelors!!! Thank goodness!! :) My brother has also joined the Army like his big sis! :) He leaves next wk to go to Ft Sill OK for basic and then right here to FLW for his AIT, and this is so cool.. he will do his AIT right at A 554 which is the bn I just got done working for! I know who his 1SG, Co CDR, and all the Drill Sergeants and Instructors! I am proud of him, but also worried, I hope he likes it and realizes it is not just a job, it is a life style.

The boys are doing great! I can't believe Cole will be 4 years old next month!! :( :( how fast the time has gone. He is so smart and just blows Adam and me away every day with all the new things he knows. Hayden wants to do everything and I mean everything his big brother does!! It is so cute!

We recently went to St Louis Zoo for the first time and loved it!! We are going to go again next month sometime maybe around Cole's birthday, it will be much cooler then too which will be nice.

They even had to close down part of I-44 this afternoon because water levels were so high! But don't worry we are ok where we are. But thought you might like to see some pics!

The boys were going and going this past weekend with the weather being super nice and when we came in to eat we were hoping they would eat so we could give them their baths and put them to bed early, but as you can see Hayden fell asleep even before he was done eating!! Wow it sure has been awhile since I last updated..

Well for starters I have almost finished another semester of college, half way through with this one and am taking 6 classes and working so I've been quite the busy lady.

Cole is potty trained and only wears a pull up at bed time, Hayden is wanting to sit on the potty now which is so cool!

Now onto the exciting news that has been going on....

Adam and Cole went to NY a few wks ago because Adam had a job interview for the railroad!! And he got offered the job!!!!! He has already had all his tests done and we are just waiting for the back ground check to get finished so they can give him his set school date. They want him to attend the 13 April school date! His school will be in Atlanta GA for 6 wks and then he has 12 wks of on the job training. So he should be in NY 1st wk of June to start that and I will stay out here till the end of Aug so we can get some more stuff paid off and try and sell or rent the house out.
And so I can finish the semester up here.
So yup we are moving back to NY people!!! How cool is that? only took us 7 yrs!!! :) :) I am really excited about this. We will be living up in the Potsdam area since he will be working out of Massena and I will finish my degree with Potsdam college. but it won't be nothing to drive to my families house for a weekend since they are only roughly and hour n a half south.

~A day home with Mommy~

Monday I got to leave work at 9 am! paid for the whole day because of the weather and then today we had a four hour delay because of icy roads, so I just didn't go in and so yesterday Cole and I made Valentines sugar cookies! They were pretty yummy! I think I will need to run 3 miles to burn them off! Thank goodness I have a treadmill coming in a few days from Sears! :)

And today we played or more like Cole and Hayden played by throwing all their toys around and me picking them up and moving the couch to get them! And we made Valentine's cupcakes for day care on Thursday ( since I have math class tomorrow after work from 5-10) I had to take pictures of them because they look so good! I broke down and had one with the boys! Can we say another 3 miles!!!

But I must say they were so worth it!!!

I want a COOL Shirt!!!

This is Cole's new thing, that he MUST wear a COOL shirt! Where he came up with what was cool and what isn't I have no idea! So here I have bought him all this stuff and now he won't wear it because it isn't COOL! I even had him pick out some clothes when we went shopping a few wks ago and now they aren't cool anymore!
So his favorite shirt is Spiderman! Well he only has one Spider man shirt! I can't find anymore his size at Walmart. Guess I will have to look elswhere for another Spider man shirt.
But this morning I had to pratically pull it off of him to only fight with him to put another shirt on him, which in turn he tried to pull off and was only streching the collar. So I finally got him calmed down enough to pick out something else which I got on him and he then said it was to little!!

I never saw a little boy be so picky about his clothes!! And now even his jeans are cool or not cool!!! Boy oh boy!!

Yup my little boy wants to go to school. He gets his pack pack and says he wants to go to school! Just about broke my heart because I can't believe he will be able to go to school next yr! Happy Halloween!!

The boys did not want to get into their costumes this year! We had planned to take them trick or treating and then to the church here in town because they were doing mini hayrides, photos and a small concert, but Hayden decided to throw a tantrum and instead of taking a screaming child we stayed home. Donna and her boys stopped by so we took her oldest son Danny who is 5 and Cole (without his costume) to a few of the neighbors. Otherwise we just handed out candy to all the kids here that came.
I bought Cole a lion costume since he likes the Lion King and Hayden was just going to be what Cole was last year Squirt the Turtle.

Some New Information

As most of you know we went home to NY end of Aug. We were only there for a wk including the day we got there and the day we left. So we are sorry to those we were not able to see. But hopefully we will be moving back. I have been applying for jobs and have had some interviews, but no offers... yet. I have a few more agencies looking at my resume and hopefully soon will get a call for one of them. As of right now there is an office in Albany that is really wanting me to work for them and asked me to give them a wk to two to see if they can hire me for the position without having to post it.

While we were home we found out GREAT NEWS that Adam did not have to go back into the Army. They agreed with my doctors that it would be a family hardship on us him being gone with my hip condition the way it is. It is getting worse now and I am sure it has because the weather is changing. I do go to a VA doctor at the end of the month and I will ask them to relook at my hip then. And since Adam was told he did not have to go they disharged him 11 months early from his remainder IRR (Inactive Reserve Obligation) honorablly. It is hard to believe the two of us are completly done with the military.

As for the boys they are growing up so fast, Cole has turned 3 (will be posting pictures). I can't believe he is 3 already though. They grow up way to fast. He has also finally taken an interest in potty training! Hopefully it won't be much longer and he will be out of diapers! Oh how nice that would be one down and only one to go!

Hayden is starting to talk alot more and also likes to throw terrible tantrums!! And I mean BIG long tantrums where he screams, throws and hits you! So needless to say sometimes we just put him in his crib so he can't hurt someone or himself and let him get it out of his system. Since everything you try just makes him more aggravated. Thanks mom for wishing I had a kid worse then I was, because you got your wish!! :) :)

A friend of mine sent me one of these with her kid and I thought it was neat. So I did one with each boys picture. I kind of figured Cole would look more like me since I see a lot of me in him and Hayden has more of Adam in him. I think you see the real close resemblance in Hayden and Adam with those two pictures.

Cole did great during the surgery of course he fought them tooth n nail but they got it done. I of course cried like a baby! But I know it is for the best and he is doing really well with out his two front teeth. We go back on the 5th of September to get his spacers put in and then he will have two little fake front baby teeth that will stay there until his adult teeth are ready to come in. I will let you all know more, I would love to write more, but I have just started a new semester this week (5 classes) and am beat with that and with work and we are heading to NY tomorrow for a wk long visit with family and friends, so of course I will have lots of new pictures from our trip!

Tomorrow is the day we go to have Cole's two front top teeth removed. I took him to a pediatric dentist in Springfield on Monday and the new Xray showed that his root was completly fractured! They need to go now they are so gray looking I feel so bad for him. He will go a few wks without and then we go back and will have spacers put in that will attach to his back molars on top and the two front teeth will sit where his real ones do right now. They will stay there until it is time for his adult teeth to come in.
We are doing the mild sedation right at the dentist office being as taking him to the hospital to put him completly under was a lot more. But of course if the sedation doesn't work that is what we will do. I am nervous about tomorrow especially since we can't be in the room with him, but they said they will come out often to let us know how it goes. I am sure he will do fine he is a tough little guy, but of course I can't help but be worried!
I will let you all know how it goes tomorrow evening sometime after we get home.
Also we will be in NY next Sunday and will be at my parents till the 29th and then up to Adam's family till the 2nd and then we have to head back to MO. So not very long, but we are looking foward to everyone seeing the boys'.

I really hated to cut his hair, but it was just getting wild and out of control. So I made the plunge tonight and cut it. I just knew if I didn't I wouldn't do it for awhile and so I just went and did it. As sad as I am to see them gone he does look a lot better and the ends still have curl to them so who knows he just might have some curl to his hair. Daddy was the saddes to see it go he didn't really watch me or help like he did with Cole's first haircut. But daddy isn't the one who baths and combs the hair either!:)

Trip to the Dentist
Today I got a call from my day care around 10 am, I thought "oh one of the boys is sick no big deal" Wrong! Cole got hurt! He was in a wagon (that was way to small for him) and was getting pulled by a friend, well it tipped and he hit his face on the floor! Busted his one front tooth really bad! I of course start crying thinking the worst is wrong with my baby. I call Adam telling him we have to go home and get him and he comes to get me. I am calling all over trying to find a dentist that will get him in ASAP and will take a patient under 7.I finally found one in Waynesville. So we get there and the poor guy's top lip is all swollen and his gums are all bloody and black and blue. I just start sobbing and hugging him tightly.
We bring him home before his appt. and he took a nap on our bed. When we got to the dentist we showed him the chair and told him that was the dentist chair and that he would make him all better. Well of course came time for him to get in the chair. Adam had to hold him tight so the Dentist could put the xray thing in his mouth and get a quick xray to make sure the teeth weren't damaged. Thank goodness his teeth werent broken! He did cracked the crown on one of the teeth (which is the one that was already chipped) so he gave us some penicilin to give him 3 times a day for 10 days to help fight off any infection that could happen. And I have to take him back in one wk to have him relooked at to make sure that the teeth have tightened back up. If not then we will have to see a specialist and I know for a fact there isn't one but in Springfield for toddlers. I really hope he doesn't have to go because he said if they have to remove it or do work to it they will have to put him to sleep because there is no way they will be able to with him awake, because he was freaking with just an xray.
My poor baby! :( I have pictures posted in my pictures folder under "Cole's bad day" I hope they heal on his own. I just wish I could take all the pain from him. I sure know what he is going through though I knocked my front teeth out when I worked for AAFES and passed out for no reason and hit the floor! Not fun. And thank goodness they are his baby teeth though, too! I just really really hope he doesnt have to loose one or both yet, he isn't even 3 yet. I will keep you all updated on how he is recovering ok.

Just and Update on the White Family

Well lets see what has been going on at the White house! We have been busy just puttering around the house we have our new carpet installed on Tuesday! Should be closing on our refiance on Tuesday also!
The boys are getting so big and Cole talks more clearly everyday! He now says the days of the weeks and can count to 10 if you help. He likes to go 1,2,3 GO!!!
Hayden acts more and more like Cole everyday and thank goodness I have a chain link lock on the kitchen door because he has figured out how to unluck the door!!
Can we say I have my hands full!! :)
Work for me has been going well, I don't know how many of you know, but I recently had a job offer for one of our sister battalions just down the road from my office for their GS-6 Lead Human Resource position. I think the interview went really well and am just waiting to hear on who they picked! So keep your fingers crossed! That would put me one level away from becoming a supervisor!!!
Adam has picked up work with a realtor in Waynesville MO! He just got done finishing up one of her rental properties and she has more lined up for him! So he has been really busy with that.
As of him going back into the Army his new report date is 5 Aug, unless we haven't heard anything. Last we knew it was with the Command Surgeon for decision and when we checked it yesterday it says the case is open and to not report until notified of the decision! So I 99% sure they have made one and we are just waiting for the answer! They did call him on friday and asked if he kept his June 11th appt he had made and he didn't and they said "Ok that is all I needed to know to put in the record" They also sent him an email to fill out a questanaire on the Delay and Exemption process, so that also leads me to think they have come to an answer and we are just waiting on it. So hopefully end of the wk we will know something.
I keep having dreams that he doesn't have to go, but I think it is because I don't want him to. I just try not to think about it now. I know we will be ok we have done it before, it just will be tough because now I have the boys as before we didn't have the kids. And I can't quit my job
1. Because it is a good job with good benefits
2. I have the health insurance which I plan on keeping even if he goes, because Army doctors are a pain and you can never get in when you have too
3. And I will need my job to help keep me busy during the day, the boys love the daycare and I love the people who work there.
But I will keep everyone updated as soon as we hear something. We love you all and I will post more pictures again, sorry it has taken so long I was busy with mid terms for school and what not.

Yesterday was my annual Organizational day for work. It was lots of fun. We had great food and music and a jump tent for the kids and of course the playground and kids games. This is something I felt needed to get around as much as possible, and I have fowarded it to all my space friends and thought I would post it on here to get to my family. Please, Please keep this little boy in your prayers and ask at church for others to do the same, as I have. This is a true story and has been on fox news. The mother posts updates every day and new pictures up weekly. All I ask is that anyone who looks at this please keep little Kaleb in your prayers. Thank you

There is a little boy named Kaleb in a Tampa FL hospital right now. Here is their story: (I didnt write it, I took it from here

As told to me by Kristy. Forgive me if any details are incorrect.
Like any responsible parents, Kristy and Josh Schwade wanted what was best for their only child, Kaleb. They did a background check on their day care worker, and even interviewed her in her home for two hours. Kristy was even willing to drive 20 miles out of her way to provide, what they thought to have been, "optimum" care in a good neighborhood.
On May 9th, 2007 their worst nighmare was brought to fruition. After being in the care of this home day care worker only five times, Kaleb was picked up by his Grandmother and Aunt. They noticed that he was lethargic and experiencing obvious breathing abnormalities. The caregiver told them he was ill, but Kaleb had just visited the doctors the day before and was given a "clean bill of health". When Kristy arrived at her mother's home to pick Kaleb up, she described him as "having no life in his body". She tried repeatedly to wake him, but with no avail. She and her father got in the car and rushed to the hospital. While in the vehicle, Kristy lifted Kaleb's little eyelids. She noticed that his pupils were different sizes. Being the wife of an EMT, she knew immediately that this was the sign of a head injury- Kaleb needed IMMEDIATE care. They stopped at the nearest firestation. The ambulance took him to the nearest hospital, and he was classified as a "trauma alert". He was then life-flighted to Tampa General Hospital, and was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). He was diagnosed as having Shaken Baby Syndrome. They also discovered that he had been SMOTHERED!
Kristy is not currently working, and she and Josh spend every possible moment by their young son's side. Medical bills, cost of gas, lawyer fees (I assume they will begin building), and general living expenses are mounting.
When something happens to your child, your world STOPS. Suddenly it doesn't matter that your "roots" are growing out and you are getting split ends. It doesn't matter that your neighbor is parking his dumpy car in your parking spot. You no longer care that someone cut you off on the highway, or that someone jumps infront of you in line at the grocery store. Nothing else matters but your child.
Kaleb is their world. The doctors. The PICU. It's all that matters now.
This family is not asking for anything other than your prayers. However- PLEASE, in addition to PRAYING for this family, PLEASE consider supporting them financially. Whether you can give $1 or $10,000- no gift is too small or too large. You can ONLY be blessed by giving.

Hello everyone...I write you this message in grief in faith.My son Kaleb was rushed by ambulance to the emergency room on Wed. after we picked him up from the babysitters house. At UCH they determined that Kaleb had a SubDural Hematoma (His brain is bleeding). He then was Bayflighted (helicopter) to Tampa General Hospitals Pediatric Intensive Care Unit on a Trauma Alert.Doctors determined that Kaleb was shaken while at the homecare he goes to. He is suffering from Shaking Baby Syndrome.When we first arrived at the hospital they put a pressure gage into his head to moniter the Intercranial Pressure (The pressure that the brain is under due to swelling and Bleeding). He wasn't doing too well all day yesterday, his pressure in his head was ranging between 29-40 and the normal pressure is between 5-20. So doctors decided that the best thing to do was to put a tube into his brain to drain spinal fluid from his ventricle. This procedure was a sucess and brought the pressure down.Today however, they did a Cat Scan and saw that Kaleb is now suffering from a stroke and has formed a new bleed in the brain.I beleive in Miralcles! I believe that prayer works. I am asking you, all of my friends, whether you know me well or not to PLEASE pray for my little boy Kaleb. He needs a miracle and we need your help!I know some of you may not believe in God... But he exists! And he's already performed one miracle. Please I ask you, I beg you, to Pray for my little boy and my family. He is my everything.

Thanks to my moms great idea of putting up lattice to make privacy and my dads and Adams hard work we now have a beautiful wall up on our carport with wonderful flowers that will grow up the side. We have the inside now with our outdoor table and chairs and are going to get some clear lights and ivy to hang in the inside up at the top and it is now like an outdoor patio/living area. I will take pictures and post them up later. We plan on getting one of those really nice fans with the big paddles on them to replace the light we currently have in the carport. It is nice now to sit inside there and the boys can play because it is all level now and we have an old area rug laid down, and their toy chest is out there now for them to play with (since they would rather be outside playing)which is fine with me! and we have our table to eat there if we so choose too, and some chairs and a little stand table along the wall that we have some flowers on and a candle and can set our drinks there. All of this will be in the photos I post later I wanted to at least post these of the finished lattice. Let me know what you think ok? Thanks mom for the idea and dad for helping adam with the work!

Nap Time... I love it when it is the weekend and we can get both boys' to nap at the same time.(Very Rare it is, but oh so nice when we can) The house is all quiet and I can just lay on the couch and relax.

I use Mary Kay day and night solution and the microdermabrasion by mary kay. I never was much into products but now I make it a point to get at least 5 minutes of me time either in the morning or evening to take good care of me!

Here are the pictures I got from today's photo shoot! Too bad these are the only ones as the boys were not behaving! Crying, Yelling wouldn't sit still or smile wouldn't let me out of their grips! I tried to get one of the boys' and me but it came out so bad because I now have the same eye infection has Hayden had so I look like I have a lazy eye, so they gave me what pictures I have posted today for free and I rescheduled for end of April as that was the soonest Saturday they could get me in. Gosh has it been a year already? It truly seems like yesterday we were celebrating Cole's 1st birthday and here we are now celebrating our second child's 1st. It doesn't seem like this past yr has gone by so fast and I wonder where it has gone. How fast children grow up and right before our eyes. I thank God everyday for blessing me with them and love being their mommy.

I took Monday off since Hayden was sick and we went to the doctors and of course I kept Cole with me I hate having them go to day care if they don't need to. Well I was doing some cleaning and thought Cole was being awfully quiet and so I go to check on him and caught him sitting in the chair to the computer writing in my school book! Of course I could not get mad,

1. because it was so cute!

2. It was a book I was planning on keepin and only cost 18 bucks

Just waking up from a nap

Poor Hayden was sick so he went to work with me on Friday and seemed to be getting better but come Monday morning he had a fever so we went to the doctors and found out he had a small ear infection starting and a cold virus, So we got him some medicine and poor little guy what a way to spend his 1st birthday! But he is such a little trooper and is taking it like a man!

We finally got done 3 days later of putting in our new flooring. The boys had lots of fun trying to help as you will see in the pictures. It is amazing at how big of a difference it makes.

Ok OK I know it has been awhile, but I am a full time mommy, wife, school studen and working, but I finally made time to update the page. I tried to last weekend and the internet explorer shut down as I was just about done.

Well most of you know Hayden's first birthday is just around the corner! The big one! For his birthday theme we are doing baby sesame street. We got him a Tonka truck and some blocks and some new clothes so far. Some of the pictures below he is already wearing them! I couldn't wait they are so cute! But he is just a growing, he is cutting his 8th tooth in now. He can walk along the furniture and is even standing by himself and turning his upper body for a few seconds, so I am sure it won't be much longer! He loves to play with race cars with Cole. He is his own person and so different from his brother. He is completly off baby food and nursing less than a few wks ago, but I know it will be awhile before he is completly weaned which is ok with me I enjoy having the bonding time with him.

Cole is also growing sprouting right up into a toddler hard to believe he will be 3 already this year. Seems like yesterday I was calling everyone to say I was expecting with him. Everybody sure is right when they say they don't stay little for long. But Cole is such a polite little boy always saying thank you and if we ask him to get something he wont unless we say please! So he has some manners! They say at day care he is the only one who says please (more like lease) and thank you then after he does all the other kids will. They also say he is the only one who knows right what to do when coming in from outside and that is go right to the sink to wash his hands! We are slowly working on potty training he does not like to use the potty at daycare so we aren't pushing the subject. Cole also must sleep with us every night and once he falls asleep we carry him into bed. Hayden is such a good sleeper 8 pm every night he just lays down and goes to sleep. Cole is getting really good at saying words and what he wants. I am amazed at how much he learns every day and he also enjoys coloring now too and I save all his colorings to show him when he grows up.

We also had a big ice storm out here almost like the one back home in '97! We were without power for 6 days luckily our friends here in town had power and were nice enough to let us stay with them.

Well Christmas has come and gone it was a nice quiet day at the house. Both boys slept in and Adam and I got up and got ready and waited for them to wake up (might as well enjoy while we can because in a few more yrs they will be waking us up!) As you can see the boy's got spoiled! Daddy got a gift card for Lowe's and mommy got a new memory stick for the camera! I can't believe this was Cole's 3rd Christmas and Hayden's first! How fast the time goes. We hope everyone had a great christmas also.

Hayden is now officially crawling!!! Yes tonight while Adam and I were hooking up our new TV I look down and Hayden is on the floor pushing himself around well next thing I know he is up on his knees crawling!!! Like no big deal! Adam and I just start clapping and saying way to go Hayden! Cole was all happy and getting right down on the floor with Hayden. It was so cute!! I am posting pics and I also hope the video works.

It is hard to believe 9 months ago little Hayden graced our presence. How fast it has gone by. Today him and I spent all day in Rolla as he had two appts and I had one. At his well baby check up he did great no shots as he is up to date till he is 1 yrs old, he is 17.8 lbs and 29 inches tall! 70th percentile for both, very well proportioned his doctor said. Then he had physical therapy to see how he has been doing and I told her how he pulls himself up on things he can grab well and is pushing himself foward now on the floor by pushing with his legs and pulling with his arms and he graduated from pt today! No more going back. She said he will be crawling within a wk!!! He sure gets around now the way he does. It is so cute to see him move and just get to where he wants to go and get what he wants to get. It is so amazing to see them learn new things everyday. OH he is also cutting 2 yes 2 more teeth so he will now have 6 altogether 4 on top and 2 on the bottom!!

Tonight when we got home I got both boy's ready to head back to the Fort to see Santa. It was the same one Cole saw last yr. This yr we got there later and guess what! No line!!! It was very nice so we got to hang out with Santa and Mrs. Clause for quite a bit and play! They wanted to take Hayden back to the North Pole!! On our way out we stopped and saw a train a very old train that could load and unload logs! Oh did Cole love seeing that!!! It was so much fun. I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I do.

Just wanted to let everyone know that today Hayden sat up all by himself!! So he now can stand up and sit up all by himself and is starting to crawl!!! He inches himself about 1/2 an inch and then lunges himself to what he wants!! It is so funny and then he will stick his butt up in the air and wiggle it!!! He is rolly polly I call him because he rolls all over the living room floor now!!!
